ZIBATÁ GOLF

Zibatá achieves the impossible by creating the only public golf course in Queretaro, one which won the award to the Best Golf Course in Latin America, given by The International Property Awards. Unlike other golf courses, Zibatá Golf is open to the public; meaning one does not require a special membership to play.

Carter Morrish and Rafael Alarcón Menchaca designed the golf course; Alarcón is the famed coach of Mexican golf superstar Lorena Ochoa. Today, ZIBATÁ Golf has a surface of 80 hectares that make up 9 holes, par 36. Presently it will have 18 holes, par 72. It will stretch for 7,584 yards and 3 lakes with more than 3 hectares in area. The practice range will have a length of 330 yards by 110 yards in width, with sufficient capacity for 60 people practicing at the same time.

ZIBATÁ Golf has a Golf Academy directed by British PGA Pro Gavin Robinson, where golf learning is based particularly on the professional experience of the instructors. Students follow a complete program to learn the game including rules and dispositions of the sport at an international level, game tactics, stroke practice and basic nutrition programs.
